Ugh, that’s no fun. But trust me — it wasn’t you! It all comes down to how it’s taught. Basic sewing skills are something anyone can learn. If you’re willing to give it another try, I think you’ll surprise yourself with what you’re capable of.

“What if I fall behind?”
Once you purchase the course, it’s yours forever. You can watch and rewatch the lessons whenever you like, and I’ll be here to give feedback on your homework for a full year.
That said, we’ll be learning together as a group, which adds accountability, encouragement, and fun. So while there’s no pressure, I do recommend staying within a week or so of the schedule if you can!

Mistakes mostly happen when you’re learning — and we won’t be practicing on expensive or hard-to-replace fabrics. By the time you’re working on fabrics and projects you really care about, you’ll understand the process well enough to sew with confidence.

“How much time will I need each week?”
If you follow the course at the suggested pace of one lesson each week, plan on spending 2–3 hours a week sewing and practicing. Of course, you’re welcome to go faster or slower if you want. That’s the beauty of a self-paced course; fit it into your life whenever it works for you.
